OVERVIEW
The Instituto Politécnico Nacional, through the Academic Committee of the Ph.D. Program in Biotechnology, invites the academic and student community from the six participating campuses of the Doctoral Program in Biotechnology (DCB) to attend the XXXII Academic Sessions of the Ph.D. Program in Biotechnology. The event will take place from November 3 to 6, 2026, at the facilities of the Krystal Grand Los Cabos, located at Transpeninsular Highway Km. 29, La Jolla, 23400 San José del Cabo, B.C.S., Mexico.
This event serves as an academic forum for the presentation and critical discussion of emerging trends and advancements in biotechnology, structured around the following thematic areas:

Objective
To evaluate the research progress of students enrolled in the Research Seminars I, II, and III courses within the IPN Network Doctorate in Biotechnology (DCB) program, corresponding to the 2nd, 4th, and 6th semesters. Furthermore, this forum aims to foster experience sharing among researchers and students across our multi-campus graduate program, driving inter-institutional collaboration and research dissemination. Registered participants of the Academic Sessions are eligible to attend the 5BWS 2026 conference sessions upon prior event registration.
Institutional Impact
Advancing academic excellence, scientific innovation, and the professional growth of participants in the IPN Doctorate in Biotechnology (DCB). This is achieved through the dissemination of cutting-edge research generated within the doctoral program, as well as the technical evaluation and deep scientific discussion of experimental methodologies and results. Additionally, this forum provides a collaborative space to connect with peers and leading experts, track network collaborations, and conduct formal academic evaluations of ongoing doctoral dissertations.
