Bioinformatics Workshop: Nanopore 16S Metagenomics, analysis and visualization in R
Workshop Instructors: Moisés Castro-Valenzuela, MSC & Mireya Higuera-Rubio, PhD (Coregenomix, Genfunlab)
Objective: The participants will analyze, interpret, and visualize 16S metagenomic data obtained through Illumina/Nanopore sequencing using R, applying modern bioinformatic tools to generate publication-quality figures for scientific research.

Cromatography Workshop: Basic principles of HPLC
Workshop Instructor: Felipe Ramón-Portugal, PhD (ENVT-INRAe-Francia)
Objective: This course is designed to provide participants with both the theoretical background and practical skills required to apply chromatography for the identification and quantification of molecules. Through a pharmaceutical case study, participants will learn the key steps involved in chromatographic method development, including column selection, optimization of chromatographic conditions, and selection of an appropriate detection system. Real experimental datasets will be used to demonstrate the development, optimization, and validation of a chromatographic method in accordance with international guidelines for the analysis of pharmaceutical compounds.

Bioinformatics Workshop: Differential expression analysis (RNAseq)
Workshop Instructor: Abraham Cruz-Mendivil, PhD (Plantbiogen/Genfunlab)
Objective: To provide participants with the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to perform differential expression analysis from RNA-Seq data count matrices. By the end of the workshop, attendees will be able to import and explore count data, apply normalization methods, and identify differentially expressed genes and enriched functional categories using R/Bioconductor packages
