"Biotechnology as a catalyst for social development"

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The Scientific Editorial Committee of the 5th BIOTECHNOLOGY WORLD SYMPOSIUM, invites the biotechnology community and the general public to submit original works for presentation in the following modalities:

• Oral Presentation
• Poster Presentation

Accepted abstracts will be eligible for publication in a special issue of the "Mexican Journal of Biotechnology", official journal of the Sociedad Científica Internacional de Biotecnólogos A.C. (ISSN: 2448-6590).

Official acceptance letters will be sent directly to the corresponding author as soon as the scientific committee reviews and evaluates the submissions.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Abstracts must be written in both Spanish and English, including the title of the work, full names of the authors, institutional affiliation, city, and country. Submissions must strictly contain the following sections:

1. Introduction
2. Problem Statement
3. Keywords (3 to 5)
4. Objectives
5. Materials and Methods
6. Results and Discussion
7. Conclusions and Perspectives
8. References (at least two)

Important Notes

• Word Count: The abstract must not exceed 200 words.
• Format: Submissions must be uploaded in US Letter PDF format. Scanned files will not be accepted.
• File Size: Maximum file size is 1 MB.
• Registration Requirement: Works can only be presented if at least one author is registered for the 5BWS
• Authorization: By selecting ACCEPT, you certify that this work has not been previously published and grant authorization for its presentation and publication at the 5BWS.
• Anti-Plagiarism Declaration: By selecting ACCEPT, you acknowledge that the work is original, valid, authentic, and does not infringe upon any copyright laws.
• Copyright Agreement: By selecting ACCEPT, you authorize that the submitted and accepted work be published in the 5BWS 2026 special volume of the indexed Mexican Journal of Biotechnology (ISSN: 2448-6590).
